Verbal Taktiks x Keno Pt. II

Me and Slant met up with Keno of The Other Side last night. Worked on a couple concepts, ironed out the details on something you guys should expect to hear on the next project. Stay tuned! I'll keep y'all posted without trying to give too much away.

Almost time. . .

After sifting through over a couple hundred beats (literally)....We proudly announce who you guys should anticipate on the beats for the next Coffee House Chronicles installment...drum roll please.....Professor Xavier, The Grand Proctologist, Poetiq Beetz and our very own Slanted Optics...Coffee House Chronicles 2/3 Coming Soon...Stay Tuned!!

Finally Here. . .Keno's "Sleeping Giant"

Its finally here y'all...Keno just recently dropped The Sleeping Giant LP I believe on the 15th...this is the one everyone's been waitin' on! Real solid dude, also one of the premier mc's out of Sacramento...Y'all would be extremely foolish to sleep on this cat, his music, let alone this LP, overall every track is hot, definitely a straight play through, really been excited over that "All I Do" cut though, none the less, shout to the big homie Keno...Sinigang, What up...one eye willy, get hung high silly, ha. . .

Druken.....another mixtape?

Yes folks, I am currently writing...every....day....almost...you guys are going to have to bare with me on this one, been a minute since I've had to actually write a WHOLE song...by myself, lol...feel like a kid again, its more less a show case of diff. type'a joints vs an actual follow up to "the struggle". Anyhow, its going to be mad interesting to see how it'll come together...really just wanna have fun with this one, y'all are going to most definitely stay tuned in for more...

Shouts by the way to everybody staying active write now, on their pen game...Slant, I.D. of course, Shemzilla, Keno, Konkwest, Plus...all y'all

Lebron James x New York?

'nuff said.

I'm playin', who knows where he's going.

Another $10.00 Well Spent

What up everybody, for those who haven't copped this album...pick it up, its most definitely in my opinion the closest thing you will get to the 1st Reflection Eternal album. Kweli held his own on the album, the collaboration with Jay Electronica, J.Cole and Mos was real nice of course. Hi-Tek delivered on the production, very solid, nostalgic album. It was very reminiscent of what I recall feeling like and what type of Hip-Hop music really influenced me at the time of the 1st collaborative project. The mix and mastering was great as well. Over all, a very solid project and an excellent change in scenery regarding the rest of whats been coming out. Cop it! You won't regret it.
